Always heard that in the Southern hemisphere the water in your bathtub drains out in a clockwise direction, whereas back home the water would flow counter clockwise. It’s called the coriolis effect. Now, I don’t have a bathtub at home, so I never had the chance to test this theory. But I was staying in a very nice hotel this weekend, with ditto bathtub, so I filled the tub to test the theory.
